CCCADA was invited to present Narcan in the Home at Audubon Towers, providing residents with practical information about opioid safety, overdose prevention, and the importance of having Narcan readily available. A key message of the presentation was that if you or someone you know has been prescribed an opioid by a doctor, you should also have Narcan in the home. Attendees learned how Narcan can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose and how having it available can help save a life in an emergency. This presentation is from the Camden County Board of Commissioners, through the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Mental Health & Addiction, and facilitated by the CCCADA office.
