C.A.N. Drug Free Community Coalition

The C.A.N. Drug Free Community Coalition is a collaborative effort to reduce the impact of underage drinking and substance use.

Coalition Corner!

The C.A.N. Drug Free Community Coalition is a partnership between many sectors of the community, including businesses, local law enforcement, schools, parents, and other youth-serving organizations.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with many partners to share the great efforts and programs we each bring to the community!

Camden's National Night Out

National Night Out was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen community relationships throughout Camden City. Our Program Manager, Bob Chew, visited National Night Out events across the city, delivering materials to Camden Metro Police officers while engaging with residents. Bob enjoyed spending time with local youth and their families, celebrating community partnerships and helping foster positive connections between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve.

Honoring Dominick Andujar

Program Manager Bob Chew attended a recent community event honoring the legacy of brave and courageous Dominick Andujar. In his honor, family, friends and community partners came together to help prepare young families for the start of the school year by distributing back packs and other school supplies.

Fraudulent ID Detection Training

It was our pleasure to host the annual Fraudulent ID Detection Training once again at Ponzio’s Diner in Cherry Hill.  We were honored to have presenters Joseph Vasil Director of Fraud Training Services from Vasil ID Training, LLC and Andrew J. Luca, Deputy Attorney General Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. For more information, please email andrea@cccada.org or robert@cccada.org.

The CAN Drug Free Community Coalition hosts monthly meetings along with many events through the year including the annual “Drug Free Community Starts with Me” billboard art contest.
